چکیده
A study of the chemical composition essential oil obtained from aerial parts Salvia glutinosa L., growing in Georgia, was carried out. The percentage dominant components determined by integration, component are caryophyllene oxide (11.43 %), spathulenol (5.93 humulene (4.5 %). From terpene compounds oxygenated sesquiterpenes dominants. content phenolic using Folin-Ciocalteu reagent aqueous, methanol and chloroform fractions residual plant material. In aquaeous fraction total is 25 ± 2 %, methanolic 26 3 chloroformic - 1.8 0.5 %. Fractions antioxidant anti-inflammatory activity were determined. showed ORAC test (6 micromole TE/mg), revealed (0.61 0.06 TE/mg) using cell culture WS1. Methanolic exhibited high activity, 100 % inhibition NO production, at 52 μg/ml dose, without any significant toxicity
